VK Roll on ROPP Capping Headset

This capping headset is a reliable standard for metal Roll on Pilfer Proof (ROPP) closures. It has two thread rollers and two flange rollers, which deliver lateral forces so that the bottle threads are precisely rolled out. The roller arms have pre-adjusted factory settings specific to the closure being applied. Fast and simple control of the side pressure is achieved with adjusting nuts. By swapping out the head pressure springs, closure-specific head pressures ranging from 500 N to 3400 N can be achieved. A centering bell prevents cocked caps. A tracing pin (safety plunger) keeps the roller arms from damaging the bottle threads if there is no closure present. It is suitable for all CL/CSI/ALCOA cappers. It can be used in other capping machines with an adapter. It is easy to maintain with only one lubrication point. Depending on the cap size, the variants are availble as VK 138, VK 161, VK 175, VK 195.
