Eurobins are widely used in the food processing industry and, once filled, can easily exceed 300 kg in weight. Manually transporting these heavy bins is inefficient and places unnecessary physical strain on employees. To address this challenge, Movexx previously introduced a vacuum hook solution for use with the TT1000-T-Inox and TT1500-T-Inox electric tugs. However, in real-world environments, factors such as condensation and surface contamination often reduced the reliability of the vacuum connection. To overcome these limitations, Movexx developed an improved mechanical hook solution. All Eurobins share reinforced side “wings,” which are now used as secure connection points. This newly designed hook is combined with the TT1000-M-Inox, resulting in a compact, robust, and user-friendly handling solution. A key advantage of this system is its ability to automatically engage the Eurobin once the load reaches approximately 150 kg, simplifying daily operation. With this solution, operators can move Eurobins electrically while maintaining an upright and ergonomically correct working posture. Physical strain is significantly reduced, leading to improved productivity and higher job satisfaction. Furthermore, the coupling system allows multiple bins to be transported in a single movement, further increasing efficiency in demanding food industry environments.
