The SS2/SS8 Universal Segmenting and Coring Machine is specially designed for coring and cutting a wide range of fruits and vegetables. This semi-automatic machine can process apples, pears, oranges, kiwis, baby pineapples, baby melons, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, eggplants (aubergines), courgettes, cucumbers, mushrooms, and more. It allows for various cutting shapes—such as slices, wedges, and sticks—in multiple sizes, made possible by interchangeable cutters and plungers. The operator simply loads the product, and the automated mechanism uses plungers to push it through the selected cutter, producing the desired cut.
