The high-temperature resistance and anti-stick properties of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) make it an ideal choice as a release surface in composite molding and heat-sealing applications, while also improving production efficiency. Coupled with an acrylic, silicone or rubber adhesive system, our PTFE tapes are conformable and chemical resistant. Having very similar characteristics than PTFE Virgin, but with the added Filler of Bronze shavings to increase its mechanical integrity, this Teflon is particular suitable for Seal components in high Speed, high Pressure and high Temperature applications.
